To whom it may concern,
I took the coastal navigation course from Bruce Stott at Gulf Islands Cruising School Ltd. The final exam went well.
Bruce was helpful and professional. I would recommend this school to anyone wishing to take the Coastal navigation course.

"It has been a real pleasure to meet you. Your patience & knowledge have helped get us off to a good start with our Riviera. Wishing you all the best,"

Brian & Terry
Edmonton AB

"Hi Bruce,

Terry and I returned for an unchaperoned weekend on our boat. We just went over to Cowichan Bay - we planned a short trip and did not want to be too ambitious on our first solo. There was a lot of marine traffic, including the large ferries in Swartz Bay.

Everything went well, in large part due to your assistance - thank you. We saw more than one example of a large boat being docked very poorly! What a circus it can be on the water.

Our docking was very good, and drew an appreciative comment from the owner of the marina. A little knowledge of spring lines would help a lot of skippers at the dock.

Trust that you are well, and enjoying the nicer weather."
Regards,

Brian & Terry
